Brad, Your injector pump, probably an "A" model, has a low pressure gear pump that operates any time the engine is turning regardless of throttle position. You probably have a pressure gage on top of the pump that shows the pressure of this gear pump. Running on gas with throttle open or closed, this gage should show pressure. The injector pump also has a high pressure plunger pump that supplies fuel to the injectors when the throttle is open. If you need to bleed the injectors you need to have the throttle at least partially opened. Have fun, Larry
