Firing up a MD

Can anybody answer a quick question for me. Will an injection pump have pressure if it is running on the gas side with the throttle lever opened up. I just had the scavenging pump rebuilt and I live at an apartment complex so I cant leave it run to bleed all the injectors and test it right now. At least not without an eviction notice. LOL I just want to see if I fixed most of my problems. I will be able to do it properly midway through the winter months when I bring it back to the farm. Thanks
