one last question for Peabody?

Peabody, I looked at the housing and the removable gear and don't see any seal, other than what looks like brass inserts in both gear shaft holes on the housing body. Those look to be set in and very tight making removal difficult. I looked at the other attached half of the unit with the two gears coming out and took out the removable gear and in that hole is also a set in (I think) brass seal? The gear shafts are not worn or grooved in any way and the holes that the shafts sit in look good also, no apparent wear.
