Hi NC, I can't help with the A110 but depending on which PSD you want to use. Mine is a 02 F350 PSD with a ZF6spd, 3.73, DRW, 4wd, and with 26kGCW at 1800rpm I had no problem maintaining 60mph on flat roads in 6th(OD) and 5th gear on the small hills. The 02 PSD makes 520ft/lbs at 1600rpm and 275hp@2800rpm. Other years, 99'+, are slightly less with the 03 7.3 slightly more. I added a 2nd tractor for 31kGCW and that was too much for this truck. I now had to use 2250rpm to 2500rpm (turbo rpm) to maintain 60mph. I was also fighting a 30mph headwind. I normally pull my RV, 16kGCW, at 1600rpm on the flats and 1800rpm on the 8% grades. At 1800rpm the turbo adds just a tad of boost and makes a huge difference in climbing the grades. I drive for maximum fuel ecomony at all times so most of my travels is at 1600rpm as this yeields the best fuel mileage. The Ford ZF6spd is a piece of junk and shifts like one. Also the stock Ford or LUK clucth is too weak for the PSD. Both Rockwell and Southbend build a clutch rated at 11ooft/lbs or enough to last in a PSD. Personally I would look at a older mechanical injected diesel with a turbo as then you can run B100 or home made fuel where the PSD will have a few problems with back yard fuel. I would also look at a Eaton 18spd auto-shift tranny as then you can have a double OD for great fuel ecomony plus have a 17% ratio spread. The autoshift needs a clutch to stop and start but up/down shifts like a fluid automatic but with gears and no clutch to shift. It shifts by rpm that you program in and can change at will. I have a neighbor that uses a 6cyl Ford tractor engine in his pick-up. He stated the engine has worn out two pick-ups and now working on it's 3rd truck. He keeps the engine & tranny and fuel componets and changes the rest of the truck. T_Bone

The Cletrac General GG and the BF Avery A - A Bit of History - by Mike Ballash. This article is a summary of what I have gathered up from various sources on the Gletrac General GG and the B. F. Avery model A tractors. I am quite sure that most of it is accurate. The General GG was made by the Cleveland Tractor Company (Cletrac) of Cleveland, Ohio. Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
