Well that could be a number of things. Did you retorque the head after you had woarmed it up?? Are all the valves adjusted right, when you pull a head you need to readjust the valves. Are all the push rods for the valves where they should be, seen them fall out of place and then you will have no power. Do you maybe have a vacuum leak in the intake, or did you maybe get the carb on wrong and the govner isn't opening the carb up when it needs more gas, seen that also. Just a few of a long list that could be your problem. Also did it run right and have power before you changed the head gasket? Also is you fireing order correct that will also kill your power.
