The power steering pump wont have a lot of pressure but would lift a three point just make sure you have a large dia cycl of 3in or so and you will have to have a resivour that holds at least 2qt. Now what are you going to lift with the three pt? If you are going to lift big round bales you mite want a larger dia cycl as the bigger dia the more the lift. People often forget that its not the pressure so much as the diam of the cycl when it comes to capacity. Yes under most uses what you want to do will be a great system.
