According to my manual the late production C's had
the thermo-sighoning system with a pressure type cap. They recommend the 165-190 degree thermostat. He should feel the radiator lightly
to see if it feels hot all over or has hot spots
and cool places. Radiator tubes may be getting plugged restricting coolant flow. When I had an A it wouldn't heat up unless you were plowing. Hal
