this may sound a littel harsh but from what you have said about this tractor it sounds like it should be hit between the headlites with a hammer and put out of it's missery , no water filter so you'll be looken at and overhaul at some point in time busted ft. axel broken three point needs paint new batterys and you have know idea if the clutch and T/a are any good or trans and rear end . Now anything is fixable but at what cost??? i did a 1066 up for a guy some years back that just had to have a 1066 and did not like the price of the one that i had forsale ( 8500) so he and his dad went and bought one at a sale for 5000 this 1066 had been hit by a semi and broke in half mickey moused back into a whole tractor with a broken dash support held together with strips of flat iron and bolts bad tires bad engine bad T/A bad transmission broken ft.bent up sheetmetal busted seat junk wiring and the list goes on then they bring it to me to fix well we fixed it and my one buddy painted it and the tire man put new tires on it and when they were done with it the best we could figure was that they had well over 18500 in it i had every nut and bolt out of that tractor scattered across the shop , But they bought it cheep .
