Super A owner's manual supplement: "Touch Control Heat indicator", the manufacturer (only) cautions that implements striking the bottom of the tractor before reaching the end of the lift cycle could cause overheating of the Touch Control oil and damage to the hydraulic pump and seals (& the tractor itself). My '51 SA has that heat indicator, but as others have noted, I've never seen it move at all. It is connected at the bottom left side of the touch control cylinder block in the center of the cylinder block strainer cap (4-bolt cap). Must not have been standard equipment, since other pictures of the strainer cap in the manual don't show it.
