An non-running MD is not a tractor you can expect to get running in a short period of time, there are too many variables.If you get desperate to go in the parade you could pull start it on diesel. It's not something you want to do very often because engine should be somewhat warm. If you have it in heated shop you would be alright, just don't turn it off at the parade.
