Goose Creek Farms: You will need to get all those shifting rails at neutral, then put shift lever back. Your problem here is worn end on shift lever. You need to build it up by welding, make it the size of the notch in one of those rails. build it just bit snug, then grind it until transmission will shift smoothly. When your done it should be rectangle shape and very slightly rounded on corners. You may encounter some problems getting those rails to neutral as you may have some presure from being in two gears at once. A little trick I learned many years ago. Use another vehicle for an anchor and with the aid of come alongs, pull on tractor. You may need to do both directions before done. The amount of presure you apply will affect this as well. You may have to play with a bit. Just be patient there is a point where by they will come out of gear.
