Burnt A for parts?

The rear axle housings (final drive housings) on my '43 A are busted. A farmhand tried to use the tractor to pull tree stumps and I assume he didnt take out the slack in the chain and the resulting jerk bent the drawbar and the housings busted. I found a parts tractor locally but it has been through a building fire. I wonder if the fire would have caused any damage to the housings other than melting the seals? Would the housings be safe to use? Thanks!
