Every tractor has a different serial number. That's why they're called serial numbers, because they're numbered in series, meaning one after the other after the other. In the serial number lists, only the first number for a particular year is listed. It's highly unlikely that your exact number will be listed. Normally it's in between two numbers. If your number comes after the first number in a year, but before the first number in the next year, it was made in that year. In this case, 1948 because it was between the first number for 1948 and the first number for 1949.
