That is exactly what you have Bill...condensate in the exhaust. It may be possible that you are compounding the situation with an overly rich fuel mixture on the carburator (thats where the black soot is coming from). It seems to be more present in the winter months as a nice hot manifold cools off a lot quicker with the lower outdoor temperatures that are present. Check your mixture on your carb and live with it from there...because like the boys said, they all do it at one point or another.
