You need three things to make an engine start. Fuel, air and spark at the right time. You need to make sure fuel is flowing to the carburetor. You should hold your hand over the throat of the carburetor, use a glove on your hand. You should feel suction against your hand. This is the vacuum in the intake manifold. This is required to pull the atomized fuel into the combustion chamber. If you have fuel and a vacuum it should start, unless you do not have fire at your sparkplugs. If this tractor has battery ignition you need to check for battery voltage at your coil if you do not have fire at the plugs. Pull one your plug wires and hold it within 1/4 inch of a good ground on your tractor. Should have a good hot spark. Has the distributor been removed from the tractor recently? Hal
