Hi Paul, I got an email from a really nice feller last night who says I'm on the right track; just the wrong side of the tractor. I just assumed it would be the forward pressure relief valves that chew themselves up. He said no, it is the directional check valves that go south and that my symptom wouldn't be caused by a relief anyway. Well, wouldn't ya know it? The forward check valve is located in behind the darned hydraulic pump on the other side of the tractor! :>( Geeze, might as well keep going, I guess; 'taint worth a darn this way. So, as soon as it gets light out, that silly hydraulic pump is comin' outta there and I'm goin' fishin' fer that leak! We'll see what we shall see. :>) Allan
