This summer I needed a set of roller bearings for the bull brake pinion on my 756. I priced them at CNH for $32 per bearing and race combo. Napa wanted $50 for the same thing and Greed Deere quoted $67! It always pays to check with the dealer first. Is that the 706 your going to overhaul? I got started on my 706 today it has a knock when cold that used to go away when she warmed up but not any more. Had about 600 easy hours on a dealer overhaul unrolling hay for cattle. Not liking what I'am finding, no6 is lightly scored and two others have up and down wear pattern. Not sure what I'am going to do yet, replace one sleeve piston assembly and send it on its way or fix it right and keep it.
