Well, Thru the process of elemination, I can just about see this one coming down the road at me and it all kinda just "falls in line" with the way it is acting too. Sort of like a hitch that will lift just fine 'til ya hook 'er up to something that really needs lifting. :>) What gets me is that it is so darned strong in reverse, but now, I'm thinkin' that is probably due to the gear reduction. Six of one and half dozen of another, I guess. Bought the ol' heifer thinkin' it needed an engine. Turns out the engine is just fine and she needs some attention at the box. Old tractors are fun, 'taint they? :>) Allan

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor.
