Have you ran a compression check? High intake manifold vacuum may be pulling oil past your valves. The guides may be worn. I had an engine with broken rings. It never smoked and no oil from the exhaust. It did have a lot of blowby and it sounded as if the compression was blowing into crankcase. When I pulled the head I saw what was causing this. The ring or rings had broken and had cut a groove into the cylinder wall. The compression was blowing down that groove. A big notch in the piston too. This engine never missed, I did hear a little noise from the engine. I pulled the engine and had it rebored oversize. Ran like a new one after that. Cost about $600.00 for parts & machining. Hal
