Farmall H PA, here's how I start stubborn tractors. Disconnect the air tube from the oil bath to the carb. Get one of your wife's windex bottles or any household spray bottle, fill with fresh gasoline. Make sure the tractor is in neutral and ignition on. With your right hand hit the starter button and with the left spray gasoline mist into the carb..if the H doesn't light up then you have spark or timing problems, usually about two sqirts and then I keep it running by continuing to squirt when the engine fades, often when it runs a moment it will continue on its own. One of my H's requires a lot of choke to start( gas begins to drip out) and it fires, the other H doesn't need choke to start, just half to keep running until it warms up a moment, as others said they are all different. Incidentally if it has Champion plugs that's likely why it isn't starting well...Good luck... Mike in Exeter Ontario
