Hi , Since I didn't open the gearcase in the mist today I wanted to do something so I started on the light's . I got em off with an electric impact . I took them apart so now I have a few question's about how to return them to good usable condition . 1 ) Is there someone or somewhere that can re-tin the reflector ? In order to get the black dullness out of them I polished them with fine white polishing compound and my finger and some " outor " ( That's how it's spelled - it's pronounced " water " ) . I have a nice shiny brass reflector now in one of the lights . The other one polished out OK . 2 ) How many different styles of light were put on the M . Both of mine are teardrop and are made by Guide but the bucket's are slightly different at the mounting stud and one was painted black inside and the other one was IH red inside . Also , the one that was black inside had a wire to ground the socket to the bucket and the red one had a perforated copper strap that pinched between the reflector and bucket . 3 ) On the black interior one there was some of the original ( I think ) gasket left and it looked like packing gland material - sort of . Or maybe a black plumber's putty . But it wasn't a formed rubber gasket I'm sure of that . So , The question is - Can these gasket's be gotten at the dealer ( IHC ) or anyplace else ? Thanks ! ...Randy
