Since you have indicated your "H" has a mag, does it make a clicking sound when turned over with the crank. If not the impulse is likely not working. If it isn't the only way to overcome this is to remove the mag and check the impulse mechanism to see if it is free and all the springs are intact.
In noticed in the replies nobody has mentioned this, at least I didn't see any.
