I tried putting a tester gauge in the oil gauge spot. The problem was the gauge needle never was at zero, it started at about 15 and never moved off of that (you know how it is, the test gauges get old and don't drop down to where they belong). I was thinking that since the gauge measured all the way up to 250 psi, maybe it just wasn't picking up the pressure, since it is only a 59.5 ci motor. Of course it is possible, though unlikely, that the 2nd tester gauge was faulty, but I doubt it because it belongs to my uncle the mechanic of the family.
