Yes, there is about 1/16 clearance from the throwout bearing to the release fingers.

The tractor is always in low range.

I can't figure out any fix except to split it and check the spring dimensions.

I can see the ventilation grooves in the clutch lining, on both sides. The guy I bought it from said the TA had not worked since overhaul, so I'm guessing the pressure plate was set up wrong.
