If Im going to get an o-ring I do the same thing. I use Gordon Rubber & packing Co in Derby Ct. TEL 203-735-7441 they have every o-ring ever created. But we are not talking about your conventional o-ring. This is square or rectangular in shape on the crossection and fits into the housing groove on the pump.,
