A good leak check of all fittings from the fuel tank to the carb may save You some propane. I occasionally take a cup of warm water with dish soap mixed in and apply to all the fittings with a basting brush or a small paint brush (even the fill valves on the tank). A small leak can release a good bit of $1.85 per gallon propane faster than I can afford. I Always shut off the fuel any time the engine is not in operation. If You are not experienced in re-filling the tank and plan on doing it Your self, You should ask someone knowledgeable about the process for assistance for Your own well being. I have been using a pair of propane M's for several years and they have been trouble free, start easily and aside from the refueling difficulty I am happy with them. You might find it handy to have an emergency hose made up that You can hook to a portable 5 gal tank and connect to the fuel line if You run out of gas in the middle of a field. The local NAPA dealer made mine and it is worth having.
