I am afraid that it did go out. I bought a new battery and I still get the same results. I think my carb. problem was a result of me not filing down the top and bottom of the carb. I took it off and cleaned it up really nice since it was beveled and it was sucking in a lot of air. I haven't gotten to test it yet. After the starter is rebuilt I'll be able to find out. It's my understanding that our tractors (A and B) are about the same engines with a little different wheel configuration. Mine looks like a tricycle.
