Farmall c engine timing quesitons??

Hello I'm installing a remanufactured motor in a farmall c for a neighbor farmer. Just wondering if theres any special tricks or marks to align the governor drive and mag. drive gear unit. the gear and governor goes in then the mag. then the governor housing. Just want to make sure everythings lined up good and to produce the best power. How do you check timing after its running. I would imagne that you could it the mag 180' off. thanks for all the help in advance. take care happy new year
