If the Power steering isn't working I would first crack the bleed screw on the pump housing (left side of tractor behind clutch linkage), if you have pressure there may be air in the system. If you have no pressure, the pump may be bad. The power steering pump is piggybacked to the hydraulic pump and they come out as one piece. Removal is simple. Drain the fluid, remove hydraulic supply line and power steering supply line from housing cover,and remove bolts from housing cover, if you leave the four bolts in the center of the cover the pumps will stay attached to it. That's how I usually take them apart.
