there seem to be a lot of questions about voltage and the mystery surrounding voltage. ohms law Ohms law ca be expressed as an algebric equation: E=IxR "E" = electromotive force (voltage) "I" = intenstiy (amperage) "R" = Resisance (ohms) there is an equation to see the various relationships between amps vlots and ohms. if you know the voltage and the resistance you can figure out the load on the given circuit. say like like converting from a 6 volt system to a 12 volt system and you want to know the proper wire size for the headlites. for headlites you use watts instead of volts in the formula to find the resistance and go from there. the formula: volts = amps x ohms and or amps= volts/ohms and or ohms= volts/amps or E --- I|R

The Fordson F Ignition System - by Anthony West. A fellow restorer contacted me earlier this year asking for some help and advice on a model F that he was restoring. He had over a period of months spent a fair amount of his hard earned cash on replacement parts for the old "trembler" ignition. Sadly though all his efforts seemed to be a waste of time and money as he still couldn''t get the temperamental old thing to run correctly!! If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
