Hello Kelly C, I by no means an expert mechanic, and haven't worked in the trade for a living since 1985. However, there is a little trick that I learned the hard way on a Perkins diesel that was in a MF 1100. Tried everything and the sleeves just would not come out of there. What finally worked was dry ice. Put your sleeve puller set up with a rag/something in the bottom of the sleeve to hold the dry ice. Put the dry ice down the hole that your puling and have as much pressure on the sleeve puller that you can get. The dry ice will help contract the sleeve and allow it to loosen up in the block. This a slow process, but it will pop the sleeves out of there. Keep the pressure on them and increase as often as you can. LOL, along with working on a few other jobs while waiting, it took almost a day and a half for me to pull the six sleeves out of that Massey Ferguson. This is just an idea that has worked for me on more than one occasion. Good luck with pulling those sleeves whichever process that you use. Please post and let us know how you come out with this task and what process you use that works/worked the best for you. later days mate, Jim

A copse of wildbreaking silver birch and oak trees surround the top si
