The diagram for my 826 has a diagram that shows where the wiring harness routes but not which wire goes where. Maybe my terminology is wrong. Maybe what I am looking for is a wiring schematic. I got a schematic for an 806 from the local dealer but he did not have one for an 826 or 856 ( I think they might be similar). If anyone can fax or e-mail me a copy of a wiring schematic - or even sell me a manual that has one in it, I would be indebted. I spent many hours this past weekend trying to figure out which wire connects where on my 826 with no luck. I have been tempted to get new wiring harnesses but then I still would need to know where the ends connect. Also, the original alternator or generator has been replaced with a single wire alternator. The tractor started and ran before we split it to overhaul the TA and tighten the shifting mechanisms. The main problem is/was that many of the wires were frayed and broken so when we put it back together, we tried to replace some of the wiring, obviously without luck. I am certain that the 806 diagram is not the same as the 826 after spending most of my weekend trying to work off of it. I am confident that if I could find a good wiring schematic for a FARMALL 826, I could get the tractor's electrical system to work properly along with all the sensors and gages. Without a schematic, I could get it to start but not all, if any, of the gages and lights would work and would probably end up getting burned up or out. HELP!!
