For the entire tractor - steam clean if you have access to one . For parts or second choice for entire tractor - engine degreaser ( in the rattle can ) at the carwash . True steam cleaners are terribly expensive , the Hotsey brand washer we have at work is one , it'll heat water to over 220 degrees . It's hard to work with it when it's that hot as it takes paint off right now , right down to the bare metal . That's one way I stripped a crane boom a few years ago . You can rent portable units at constuction rental stores . Otherwise some stores sell a wand that you hook up to a air supply and the garden hose . They work pretty good if you can hook to the hot water from the house .
