Soil conditions and tillage stuff can vary as to how they are adjusted and in good repair. BUT i have drove 60JD and on tillage use the M is far more the better tractor for power. The 70 would be a better match for an M. Now do you want to talk about quiet easier steering getting on and off smooth comfort seat. Been there done that. The M FARMALL had head and shoulders above the rest of the class. Ever used a 60 JD with a loader or even lined one up with a belt. Better yet back a wagon with a 60.
