You are right that it is more in the left hand corner {if looking at the motor} where the manifold meets the head. I got to tell you it's driving me nuts. I have been very careful to start in the middle and torque it per Edelbrock instructions and I did the rvt thing just like you said. Still leaks a cup full out overnight. I thank you all for your replys.
