gene, I found your post very interesting, but don"t quite understand it. Why would you have to have a hand crank or a remote valve to raise and/or lower a bush hog? My Super A is 3 point and my neighbor has a 5 foot bush hog and he uses my tractor all the time to bush hog his pasture and he just backs up to it, hooks it up, and away he goes. I"ve never used or looked real close at his bush hog, but I think it has a U joint somewhere. I"ll have to investigate a little further.
