Tractor vet, thanks for the incite. My local dealer suggested to start by replacing the pressure relief valve under the seat. I am wondering if the remote system really uses a separate pressure relief valve than the 3-point or if they both operate from same one? If they use the same one, it wouldn"t make sense to me that the 3-point would still function as it should. ALso wondering if any IH guys can tell me what the "blocks" that the remote hoses come out of on back of tracor are called and what is their purpose? My Dad has a 756 on which the remotes lift fine but when lowering planter, etc., it lets down in small, rapid increments, creating a violent shaking motion which is VERY hard on planter units. My Dad"s local dealer told him to eliminate those "blocks" altogether to solve the problem. He has not done so yet. I am not sure if they serve as a one-way valve, or what. I am curious if they could be the culprit on my 856 too???
