McCormick loader question continued

Thanks for the information. Rusty, I wonder why the vent caps are present at the top of the cylinders if that end is to return oil to the belly pump? This is a lift only system I think, which is why I thought the vents were there. We have had this tractor for 50 years and it has always been set-up this way. It will lift pretty high minus the leaking oil from the right vent. I don't know that much about hydraulics, but I would guess once the pump pushes out its reserve of oil the loader would stop lifting. Correct? But at no time should it leak? I have a parts book for the H, but I don't think my grandfather ever had anything on the loader. Thanks again for everyone's information.
