Stan: Those bees and hornets nests were always great mowing with horses. My dad was mowing one day along a railway fence. The end of the cutter bar cut right through a basket ball size hornets nest. The horses took off on the run before he could get the old McCormick mower out of gear. He thought the old mower was going to fly to bits.
