Need advice

I sent the clutch & pressure plate for this 1466 to Clutch & Joint to have it checked out. The clutch only had about 500 hours on it but I thought while it was already out get it checked. They have had it over a month . I called them today & they said they just got it done and the bill is almost 500.00 !! I called my dealer & they told me I could buy a rebuilt clutch from them with core charge for 274.00. Do I just eat it and pay Clutch & Joint or tell them to keep it & buy from my dealer.I'd feel bad leaving them hang with it but they don't mind sticking it to me. What does everyone think?
