It will go, just make sure it's good and lubricated. You might put some fluid in the opening also. Assuming you are using the correct o-ring, it will go in. Try using a little grease. Did you get the CIH kit, or did someone size them for you--if they are not the ones in the kit, that might be your problem, although the o-rings themselves are available anywhere.
