Allan: My info says the K5 was a flathead as where all down to K1. K 4 and down had a smaller flathead. K6 had the BLD 250 OHV and pictures I have as far as I can tell the pic in ad looks like what I have in my book. My book also says the 49 K7 had a BLD 269 OHV. I don't know . I do know for certain that IHC never built 2 trucks the same,my opinion from buying parts for them. Maybe they stuck a flathead in some K7s. IMO the K models are the best looking trucks IH ever built.
