Paul: I see many of the same problems you are encountering. These tractors just don't work well around trees, shrubs and other ornamentals. I suspect I can get in a wee bit closer to those plants with Super A than you can with the H. However in all my years I've never seen anything to match a Woods for mowing quality. The guy I bought the Woods from openly admits it does much better mowing than his new Zero turn Kubota. Personally I am giving consideration to buying an 8N or like tractor to mount my woods mower on, would fit under and up close to trees better than the SA does. It's lower center of graviety would make it some better on terraces, etc. But then I want my Super A for other work.
