Do what jimN sudjests and take off the transmission top cover. You might only have bent selectors wich will let the gears rub together. To lift the top cover you will have to remove the hyd lift unit first. I surgest you get a workshop manual first. The I&T one is the one I have used. Good luck and do not trap your fingers. MJ
