a few years ago i was needing a bit more room in my '89 K2500 reg cab. i took an aluminum topper and cut it down to size, basicly removed the front sliding window, chopped the length and reinstalled the front slider. i lined the inside with foam and then carpet. i tinted the windows really dark. the whole project took a weekend and cost about $50 bucks. i don't know if it would be legal for anybody to ride in it but it works good extra storage on longer trips. i just used a innertube for a seal between the truck cab and topper. i had an 8' box on the truck so i hooked up the goose neck and measured what i would need for clearance. i don't have any pics though, sorry. casey in SD
