Battery size

I"d like to put a 12 volt battery in an original battery box on my 1940 H. Currently it has a large battery on a home made tray leaving the battery exposed to the elements. Would a 12 volt battery small enough to fit in the battery box have enough cold cranking power to work ok? (350-450 CCA"s) The tractor is used for light duty only. Your suggestions are welcome!!!
