All that will come out of the filter will be about a gallon and a half to two gallion. and one thing that i have found over the years is that the square cut O/Ring is missing on the tin back plate that most guys do not know that there is suppose to be one on it and when changing the hdy filter on ALL the tractors always replace the Gskt. on the ones that you have to remove the whole cover and on the ones that just have the cap and the two wing nuts always replace the O/Ring as it gets hard and does not seal and if it leaks then it is sucking air even though your hdy's may work it is still sucking air.
