Update to waste oil

I need to clarify some of what I said on my last post. I didn't mean to lead you to belive that they think the main sorce of this stuff is from the nearby farmer. Like some said it would take years to get into the water. Here are some more facts I have learned. The wells in question are 500'+ deep. There is more to it than just oil and antifreeze. Some of the stuff they have not identifide yet. One reason this man has come under invetigation is he drives a truck and hauls waste material and 5 or 6 years ago he got in hot water for dumping trailer loads of molasses in a sink hole on his place that turned up in creeks and wells.Now they think he "may have" dumped loads of whatever else in this same sink hole. Some of this I am learning from day to day. So it's not dumping on brush as I was first told. Not that I'm for that. But it sounds like maybe truck loads of whatever this crap is. He is no poor farmer. This guy is ruining the land for furture generations of farmers or anyone for that matter. Sorry I didn't have all the facts and I guess I still don't so I will keep you updated. Did not mean to mislead you all to think they are going after a farmer just trying to make a living. That's my fault for posting before I learned more detail. Part of me hopes it is a spill or something like that. It troubles me to think people would dump this kind of stuff on purpose just to increase their profit on hauling and disposing of the stuff. If that was the case poor ole boy nothing, somebody needs horse whipped.
