I was this close. Decided today was the day to rebuild the touch-control for my Super A. The one on the left is the one that was on the tractor when I bought it. You can see its been busted and welded. The one on the right came with the tractor and I was told it just needed to be put on. Well it worked fine so I thought no hurry, so fast forward to today. I was just going to rebuild the unwelded one. Right. Everything was seized up tighter than a certain tailer's wallet. So started with taking the old one apart to see how it cane apart and then got aggressive with the seized one and used the parts from the old one to replace the parts I damaged. There was so much crud in the new one I bet the pump was trashed when they took it apart. Cleaned every thing up with mineral spirits and WD40, flushed with hytran and reassembled. As I said I was this close 30 mins more and I would have been done but then it started to rain.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
