Pictures, high tech cameras, videos, Fastline, do not show all the defects and missed places in the paint. The ONLY way to get a uniform coat on everything is to disassemble. IH did not do that at the factory, but factory paint was not very good anyway. Each person can do what he pleases. I disassemble, I guess because I want to spend a year on the one or two day job the some others do. But, I don't have anything else to do--might as well do as good a job as I can. Painting cannot be hurried as you get what you do.
